It has been absolutely freezing here in Oakland. There was ice rain. IN OAKLAND. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN. This is California, right? Good lord. Mom’s been keeping the heat on pretty high even when she’s not home so I’m not cold. She’s the best mom ever. She covers me up at night too so I’m cozy. I hope this winter stuff goes away soon. We didn’t move to California for this bullshit weather! Where is the sun?! Warm temps!! Summer! Are you here yet?!
Booooooo. The rain came back. It has been CRAPPY ALL DAY TODAY. It rained. It was cold and windy. Mom and I were going to go for a hike in the morning but it was so awful out.
Today is also the Super Bowl. Mom was sad all day because we used to celebrate the Super Bowl with my old dad and brother. They moved away right when we moved to the new house. Mom misses them a lot. I miss them, too. I miss seeing mom’s smile. I miss her laughs. I hope they come back because mom is really sad without them.
Until they come back, I will try my best to make her smile.
I love one on one time with my dog walker!!!!! She came to help mom out today so I got to spend some solo time with Nicki! The rain returned again today but we avoided any heavy downfall. As much as I love hanging out my friends but I LOVE when I get to have Nicki all to myself!!!
This rainy winter business is bananas. The good news is I still go on hikes with my best dog walker, Nicki, but it’s COLD AND WET! I just want to snuggle on the couch. Anyway, this weekend is pretty dry and sunny and mom and I are going to cover some grounds before the rain comes back! GO AWAY RAIN!!!
Ugh it’s been raining ALL.FREAKING.DAY. Mom and I started our day with our hike and had to turn around because it was so muddy and rainy. I personally didn’t mind because you know, I’d rather be on the couch than be on trail but it does feel good to get fresh air. Then the rain just didn’t stop. I had to pee and poo in the rain! And it was so windy. Mom and I’ve been cozied up on the couch for a bit, took a little nap. But I’m definitely getting a little cabin fever. I’ve been playing with my favorite toy, Lamb Chop. Oh man Lamb Chop is my favorite!!!
