No rain in 4 days!! I mean, how awesome is this!! This is why Mom and I moved on California! Sunny, warm (enough) and outdoors!!! It’s been so awesome that there hasn’t been any rain lately! I get to enjoy my hikes with my friends and not have to worry about getting wet or dirty!!!! Woohoo!!

I love one on one time with my dog walker!!!!! She came to help mom out today so I got to spend some solo time with Nicki! The rain returned again today but we avoided any heavy downfall. As much as I love hanging out my friends but I LOVE when I get to have Nicki all to myself!!!

This rainy winter business is bananas. The good news is I still go on hikes with my best dog walker, Nicki, but it’s COLD AND WET! I just want to snuggle on the couch. Anyway, this weekend is pretty dry and sunny and mom and I are going to cover some grounds before the rain comes back! GO AWAY RAIN!!!

I’ve been cuddling up with mom more. Her spot is so cozy and warm. We’ve been doing a little better with getting used to the new house. Some days are easier than others. Some days are still really hard. I can still feel mom’s sadness. And I am trying really hard to make her happy by cuddling up with her more. I hope she knows I worry about her a lot.

Winter in the Bay is surprisingly cold! Especially the neighborhood that we’re in. We’re high up on the hills, surrounded by forests and mountains so it gets really cold at in the morning and in the evening. Today, mom and I went for our morning hike and it was CHILLY AND FOGGY. I kept looking behind me because I thought someone was following behind us! Spooky!!!

I got a haircut! Man, getting a haircut is EXHAUSTING. I have a love/hate relationship with haircuts. I LOVE my groomer. Jeanne is the BEST. She’s super sweet and gentle because she knows how much I hate it. She gives me LOTS of treats and always makes me look super fresh, super suave. She gives me these super cool neckerchief that I love. This time, she gave me one that matches my hoodie! I mean, how cool is she?
But I do hate it. I hate the water, I hate she gets all up around my ears, feet and my privates!

You guys, this new house stuff is a lot harder than I thought. Man. Mom keeps leaving every morning and leaving me by myself in this BIG HOUSE. When she does, I go sit by the door and wait for her. Sometimes, people come by the front door to drop stuff off but they never come in to hang out with me! I barely lay on my favorite spot on the couch because I don’t want to miss seeing mom if she comes home!!! But the other day, I got so sleepy, I had to catch a little Zzz so I did jump on the couch for a bit. It didn’t last very long because I had to go back by the door to wait for mom.
The good news is, my dog walker comes every day to play with me. And mom always does come back home later in the day. I just don’t like being home alone! Before we moved to this beautiful house, I lived with my brother Vinnie and my dad. But now that they are gone, the house feels even bigger!
I know mom’s worried a lot. I saw her cry a lot lately. I know she’s worried about me and I know she’s stressed. That stresses me out too. I just hope we get adjusted soon. We just miss our old house. Even though this house is so much nicer, bigger and in the end, we will love this new house but the old house was cozy and we were a bigger family.
Send us some good thoughts. I worry about my mom a lot and I know she worries about me a lot. A house with 2 worriers won’t do us any good! We’re trying though. I know we’ll be ok but any good vibes our ways will help!

Ugh it’s been raining ALL.FREAKING.DAY. Mom and I started our day with our hike and had to turn around because it was so muddy and rainy. I personally didn’t mind because you know, I’d rather be on the couch than be on trail but it does feel good to get fresh air. Then the rain just didn’t stop. I had to pee and poo in the rain! And it was so windy. Mom and I’ve been cozied up on the couch for a bit, took a little nap. But I’m definitely getting a little cabin fever. I’ve been playing with my favorite toy, Lamb Chop. Oh man Lamb Chop is my favorite!!!
