I took my girlfriend Sierra on her first hike on her first birthday!!! She’s never been hiking before so I took her on a very easy trail. She did really good and I can’t wait to take her on more hikes!!!!!

Mom started her new job this week and she’s been pretty busy but she spent a lot of time with me before. We went to one of our favorite parks. She works a lot and she feels bad that she spends even more time away from me but I’m ok. My dog walker is awesome and she’s been taking real good care of me.

Even though Mom went home without me but look what my grandma sent me from home!!! A new fancy harness and new healthy treats!!! Thanks Grandma!!!

Mom went home to Chicago without me this week so I gave her a stink eye last night while watching her pack. I would’ve appreciated it if she asked if I wanted to come. What if I want to see grandma and grandpa too?!? So selfish. She’s back on Saturday night so I’ll be working on more stink eyes at daycare with my friends.

Today was our last day at work. We got to eat outside, I napped and mom’s coworkers gave us cake and gifts. I even got a card too!!! It was sad to leave but I’m so excited for mom’s new job!!!

Today was my 2nd to last time in the office with mom. She is leaving her job for a much better one but her new office won’t let me come in with her. I think it’s bullshit. I can’t believe she would even consider taking a job that doesn’t let me come with her!!! She said it might change but for now I have to stay home. I’m going in again this Friday because it’s her last day and I don’t want her to be too sad leaving her job.

I went to the vet today. Don’t worry. I’m ok. It’s for my annual check up and shots. I don’t like the shots but it’s not terrible. It went by pretty quickly. My doctor said I have to get one of my teeth removed because I chipped it eating my bone and my root is exposed. So that’s not fun. I don’t have to go in until late March. Until then, I can’t chew on any bones :/.

It’s Super Bowl Sunday!!!!!! I need to rest before the big game but it’s one of our favorite Sunday’s of the year!!!!!! Let’s go Bears!!!!!

It’s finally the weekend and we are watching our favorite show, Law and Order and having a very relaxing evening. It’s supposed to be really nice this weekend so hopefully mom and I can spend some time outside!!

So mom’s been feeling under the weather. She had to get bunch of tests done and now we’re waiting to hear to see if it’s something serious. So I’ve been a good boy, behaving myself and brought her these pretty flowers to make her feel at ease. We won’t know anything until next week but if you guys can wish upon a star for my mom, that will be great. She’s the greatest mom and I want her to be healthy.
